The SL-275-SE6 is an international course that will prepare students for Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) Examination. It is a course teaching in depth Java 6. Under Sun Academic Initiative (SAI), we will be offering the exact course at about 75% less than commercial SL-275-SE6 courses. This offer is only for Multimedia University (MMU) students (Foundation, Diploma, Degree, Masters, or PhD levels). Both local and international students can join the program.
SCJP: Recognized Internationally
After taking the course and with sufficient practices, students may sit for the SCJP exam at any Prometric Testing Centers. This is only if you want yourself to be certified. MMU is not involved in the SCJP exam matters and it is under Sun Microsystems’ administration. SCJP is a “must pass” prerequisite for most of the other higher level Java based certifications be it Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, or Mobile Edition. SCJP is an international recognition; therefore the certificate is valid worldwide. The certificate will be issued by Sun Microsystems Inc, USA if you have passed the SCJP exam.
Worrying about your CGPA?
This training course is not tied to any other courses offered in MMU. It is something extra for your career. Therefore, your current CGPA will not be affected by the SCJP exam grade. You will NOT be given assignments and exams in this training course. However, you will be given a workbook to practise lab questions during the course. In other words, there is no grading in the course.

The course will be conducted during the trimester days and the course duration is for 7 days with 7 hours each (i.e. 49 hours). For the latest schedule please refer to here. There will only be limited seats for each class to ensure better student-instructor attention. The total fee for the course is RM 700. This fee is inclusive of the Training kit worth RM 59. He is a Sun Certified Java 6 Programmer and have years of experiences in teaching programming subjects in MMU Cyberjaya.
