1.    What is this course about?
It is about using C# in Visual Studio 2008 to develop Web applications using ASP.NET 3.5. Connecting to database from Web applications and XML Web Services are covered too.
 

2.    What software will I get for taking up the course?
Free license for:
1. Windows Vista Business (1 DVD) / Windows XP Professional (1 CD)
2. Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition (1 DVD)
3. SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (come with Visual Studio 2008)
4. MSDN Library (come with Visual Studio 2008)
Student have to prepare the required blank CDs/DVDs.
 

3.    How many hours of training this course takes?
Total  = 49 hours.
 

4.    What is the prerequisite for the course?
Basic of HTML, object-oriented programming (C++, Java, C#) and SQL.
 

5.    How much is the fee for the course?
RM588 for training fee (MMU student rate), <= RM120 for book.

No homework or assignment is given. All lab exercises are done during training hours. Full source codes are given.

Do NOT pay at CIMB. A payment invoice will be issued to you after you register. Bring the invoice and money to MMU Finance counter at STAD building for payment.
